No reservation deposit - With no reservation deposit to pay there is no online card payment and no need for cancellation insurance. If you change your plans just let us know.
Substitution - Unlike most companies, we allow our clients to specify which car makes/models they prefer. We will always try to provide clients with the cars they request, but due to accidents and late returns we may have to substitute an alternative model. Such circumstances are beyond our control and we ask for our clients' patience. If the car we substitute is larger, you will pay the same rental price as you would for the car you requested.
Prices are for 7 days;
3-day rental prices are half of the 7-day rental prices. Our minimum rental period is 3 days.
Prices for car hires of more than 3 days and less than 7 days are determined pro rata using the 3-day price.
Prices for car rentals of more than 7 days are determined pro rata using the 7-day price.
Easy, refundable deposits - Every booking requires a deposit upon collection of the vehicle (deposits are made by credit card and are fully refundable at the return of the rental).
The excess amount in case of accident depends upon the car category. To avoid paying the excess, you may choose beforehand to pay an optional daily waiver fee:
Groups A, B and C: € 6.00 per day waiver fee (excess € 500.00)
Groups D, E and F: € 7.00 per day waiver fee (excess € 750.00)
Groups G through O: € 10.00 per day waiver fee (excess € 1,000.00)
Airport vehicle deliveries between 23:00 and 07:30 are subject to a € 20.00 surcharge.
Deliveries to hotels and villas between 19:00 and 09:00 are subject to a € 15.00 surcharge.
Roof Racks - We only fit roof racks to our Opel Corsa vehicles. No other cars are available with roof racks. The lightweight construction of modern cars makes them prone to damage when fitted with roof racks.
Child seats - We have standard forward-facing child seats suitable for children from 6 months to 2 1/2 years of age. We also have Child seat booster cushions available for older children. Please bring a towel or seat cover to help us keep them clean. If you have any doubts about the suitability of our child seats, we recommend bringing one of your own. The booking price includes one baby/booster seat per car. Extra seats cost 3 EUR/day with a maximum 35 EUR charge.
Cars in Portugal - GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Your hire car can be delivered anywhere in the Algarve and Lisbon regions.
Upon request, we can deliver your car at no additional cost to the Faro or Lisbon international airport or to a hotel or resort anywhere in the Algarve region. Deliveries in the Lisbon area are subject to a surcharge of € 20.00.
Our complimentary "rent it here, leave it there" service is available throughout the Algarve area.
To hire a car in Portugal, the minimum driver's age is 23.
Your driver's license must be valid in Portugal and held for more than 2 years. Please have all necessary documents available when completing your rental contract.
Vehicle deliveries to the Lisbon or Faro airport between 23:00 and 7:30 are subject to a € 20.00 surcharge.
Deliveries to a hotel, villa or other accommodations between 23:00 and 7:30 are subject to a € 15.00 surcharge. This surcharge is also applied to accommodations delivery for bookings of less than 7 days.
If you collect your hire car and return it in Lisbon (or vice-versa), there will be an extra charge of € 150.00. This charge will already be included in your booking price.
DEPOSITS
We require a valid credit card deposit for security reasons. Cheques or cash cannot be accepted. The credit card deposit will be fully refundable when car is returned damage and loss free. PLEASE NOTE: Without a valid credit card deposit, no rental car can be delivered.
In the event of an accident, the excess amount of your vehicle will be charged. These are the excess amounts:
Groups A, B and C - € 500.00
Groups D, E and F - € 750.00
Groups G through O - € 1,000.00
RESERVATIONS
To make a reservation for delivery, you must provide us with your flight number, flight time and departure airport.
Requests for non-airport delivery must include the delivery address and time. Clients MUST call our contact numbers at least 2 hours before the delivery time to confirm the arrival/booking.
Reservations must be made no less than 72 hours before your arrival in Portugal to guarantee a booking confirmation.
Baby/child seats are available free of charge upon request. Please mention your need of a child seat within the reservation form to guarantee availability.
Each car may have two named drivers. Adding a third driver requires a € 20.00 charge.
PRICE INFORMATION
One rental day is equal to 24 hours. Any fraction of time beyond 24 hours is considered as an additional rental day. There is a tolerance period of 2 hours.
Rates for 3 days are 50 % of the 7-day rates.
Rates for rentals of more than 3 days and less than 7 days are based on the 6-day pro rata .
Rates for car rentals of more than 7 days are based on the 7-day pro rata .
Full payment is required upon signing of the rental agreement. Payment must be made with a valid credit card (Visa/Master/EuroCard, Diners Club or American Express) or in cash (including foreign currencies). Foreign cheques cannot be accepted.

INSURANCE
In addition to compulsory third-party insurance, a collision damage waiver (CDW) and theft coverage are provided.
Personal accident insurance is not included in the standard booking. Insurance cover is subject to an excess and your maximum liability is indicated below. Here is the price for optional waiver of the excess:
Groups A, B and C - € 6.00/day (prevents € 500.00 excess payment)
Groups D, E and F - € 7.00/day (prevents € 750.00 of excess payment)
Other Groups - € 10.00/day (prevents € 1,000.00 of excess payment)
