Vine Cottage

Vine Cottage is situated 5 minutes north of the picturesque market town of Loulé in the heart of the Algarve, and is only a fifteen minute drive from the International Airport at Faro and the many nearby beaches.

This cottage consists of one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with traditional Algarvian cane wooden ceilings. Vine Cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and an infant.

The lounge/dining area has Satellite TV and a DVD player with a good selection of films available, along with a large selection of reading books and a selection of puzzles and games. There is also a music centre consisting of a radio/CD player for your use, guests to bring own CD’s. Both bedrooms share a brand new modern downstairs bathroom which consists of a shower, bidet, WC, washbasin and shaver point. The kitchen also has a brand new modern kitchen and is well equipped with fridge/freezer, electric hob, electric oven, microwave, electric kettle and electric toaster.

The bedrooms, bathroom and lounge benefit from electric panel heaters that remain on throughout the cooler months.

Outside, the cottage has a large private BBQ area with tables and chairs for al fresco dining and sun loungers for making the most of the Algarvian sun and there is also a Gazebo for further shade. Next to the main house there is a 8m x 4m heated swimming pool with further sun loungers and parasols and from the pool terrace there are beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and panoramic seaviews. Vine Cottage is the perfect location for a peaceful, relaxing holiday, situated as it is in a tranquil area yet only minutes away from the main district town of Loule. This is also an ideal location for those who wish to ramble across the Algarvian countryside with many beautiful walks surrounding the location area and this is also an ideal location for bird-watchers.

A weekly maid service is provided throughout your stay to ensure that fresh bed linen is available, bath and hand towels are changed weekly.

A complimentary welcome hamper is provided consisting of tea, milk, sugar. coffee, red & white Wine, bread, butter, jam and biscuits.

The owners request that guests respect their wishes that Vine Cottage remains a “Non Smoking” cottage inside.

There is a truly wonderful Portuguese bar and restaurant close by from where you will be able to experience the real Algarve and the excellent Algarvian cuisine. The main district town of Loule is a 5 minute drive from Vine Cottage where you will find everything you need for your holiday, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, bars, banks, post office etc.

Whilst access to the Cottage is very good we do, owing to its location, recommend that transport is arranged prior to your arrival. Hire cars are relatively inexpensive and are usually picked up and dropped off at the airport. We are able to offer competitive rates on request. There is also an excellent Taxi service available locally.
